Q.  What is Ask About Real Estate.net™?                                                                                                    

A.  Ask About Real Estate.net™ is an easy to use web page that allows consumers to enter their real estate request.  Then, we refer the request to a real estate agent or Professional that best meet the consumer’s needs.

Q.  Can Ask About Real Estate.net™ answer all my real estate questions?                                                    

 A.  The employees of Ask About Real Estate, LLC™ and Ask About Real Estate.net™ do not give real estate advice.  However, we have licensed real estate agents who are members of Ask About Real Estate.net™ that we will refer to you so they can answer those questions.  The Real Estate Professionals can answer questions related to their specific areas of expertise.  Also, other related professionals can answer questions related to their specific areas of expertise (i.e.: Title Companies, Lenders, Home Inspectors, Appraisers, etc.)                                                                     

Q.  How do consumers start the process?                                                                                          

A.  On the home page (first page) just click on the icon that says Sign Up Buyer / Seller and then follow the instructions as they walk you through the short and easy process.  If you are unable to move forward without answering that question, then the question is a required field.  The sign up process fields are all required fields.

Q.  Is this service free to consumers?                                                                                                

A.  Yes.  The services provided to buyers and sellers (non-real estate professionals) is offered free of charge. 

Q.  How do real estate agents sign up?                                                                                                  

A.  On the home page just click on the icon that says Sign Up Real Estate Professionals and then follow the easy instructions as they walk you through the short process.  The sign up process fields are required fields.

Q.  Is this service free to real estate agents?                                                                                                

A.  No.  real estate agents have an annual membership fee that they pay to be an active member of Ask About Real Estate.net™.  There are additional services that real estate agents can take advantage of, that may or may not have a cost associated with them. If there is an additional cost those will clearly be marked and up to the real estate agent to determine what services they do or do not want.

Q.  Do I have to be a licensed real estate agent to offer my real estate services, representation and advice?                                                                                                                          

A.  Yes you do!  To offer your real estate services where you will be representing “another and for a fee” you must be an active licensed real estate agent, in good standing, in the state in which you are doing business or will be representing another.  If this is not true, you can not sign up as a real estate agent in our system.

Q.  What happens if my real estate status as a real estate agent or Professional changes?                                                                                                                          

A.  You must make the appropriated changes in your online account and inform Ask About Real Estate, LLC™ immediately of the status change.  We suggest that you contact your clients and communicate any and all status changes to them also.

Q.  Do all the real estate related Professionals sign up using the same icon?                                                                                            

A.  Yes, all real estate Professionals, including real estate agents; use the same process.

Q.  Is this service free to Real Estate Related Professionals?                                                                                                

A.  No.  Professionals have an annual membership that they pay to be an active member of Ask About Real Estate.net™.  There may be additional services that Professionals can take advantage of that may or may not have a cost associated with them.  If there is an additional cost those will clearly be marked and up to the Professional to determine what services they do or do not want.

Q.  Is there a way I can verify that the real estate agents or Professionals referred to me are in good standing with the governing body of their licensing?                                                                                     

A.  Yes.  There is a link in the Terms of Use section that will provide you all of the individual state’s department information covering real estate licensing.  The contact information includes the name of the department, their address, phone contact number, and web address.  This is a great tool to utilize to verify their license status information.  In addition, most of the state web pages also give you a method to check online the status of all of that state’s licensed professionals.  If you wish to call them instead, those department contacts can provide you with the additional Professional licensing department contact numbers.  We would always encourage you to verify the status of any Professional that you are about to use!                                   

Q.  What happens if I do not want to use the real estate agent or Professional provided?                                                                                                

A.  No Problem.  Just go into your Ask About Real Estate.net™ account and request that a new real estate agent or Professional be assigned and we will do that for you.  However, remember that if you have already signed a contract with a licensed real estate agent or Professional, the Terms and Conditions of that contract may outline your relationship agreement.  In that case you should contact that real estate agent or Professional directly for an appropriate remedy.

Q.  Does Ask About Real Estate.net™ assist with consumer contract disputes?                                                                                                

A.  No.  Those issues are between you and the other party to the contract.

Q.  Does Ask About Real Estate.net™ assist with real estate agent contract disputes?                                                                                                

A.  No.  Those issues are between you and the other party to the contract and/or the other real estate agent.

Q.  Does Ask About Real Estate.net™ assist with Professional contract disputes?                                                                                                

A.  No.  Those issues are between you and the other party to the contract and/or the other Professional.

Q.  Can I use your services if I am an investment buyer?                                                                                                

A.  Yes.  Ask About Real Esate.net™ Listing Services are available for real estate agents to list their residential, commercial and land listings.  Feel free to review all types of real estate and look at our residential, land and commercial listings, all on one convenient web page.

Q.  As a real estate agent, why should I use your Ask About Real Estate.net™ Listing Services?                                 

A.  Our Listing Services are the most cost effective way to advertise your real estate listings nation wide. At $1 per listing, per month you have the opportunity to reach a larger audience and there is no large membership fee directly associated with using our listing services. In addition, our listing services give you more ways to customize your real estate listings than most of our competitors do. There is a button at the end of the listing attributes section that allows you the ability to customize your client’s property attributes; thereby giving you more creative control over your listing. Q.  As a real estate agent, can I advertise your Ask About Real Estate.net™ listing service numbers in my advertisements?                                                                                                                 

A.  Yes.  You can do so by advertising the listing numbers as ATR LS #’s and referencing the www.AskAboutRealEstate.net™ web site.  In addition, you must still follow your state’s mandated advertising policies that outlines and covers what you can and cannot do when advertising and what is and is not required for visual advertising requirements.  If you have any questions on the content we outline, you can also review our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.  If you still have additional questions contact us for clarification.

A.  The premise for this web page is formed around the services we have seen in the past that would be beneficial to the real estate industry.  As licensed real estate agents, we have noted many opportunity areas in the referral process and general cost, other opportunities in surveying customer responses, and the general usage and cost of the listing service area.  Our goal is to provide an affordable referral service that grows and expands while addressing opportunity areas for buyers, sellers, real estate agents and other Professionals in the real estate market.  Our services will always be reviewed and improved whenever and wherever we can do so, to make everyone’s usage of Ask About Real Estate.net™ more enjoyable and productive.

A.  No!  real estate agents are responsible for the content of the information they provide.  While the information is deemed to be reliable, the accuracy of the content should be verified by your real estate agent and you.  Any questions on content or guidelines please check Terms of Use.

Q.  How do real estate agents purchase listing service credits?                                                                                                                 

A.  The credits are first available when you register. From then on, they can be purchased through your “My Account” area in your membership account. You can purchase larger quantities in advance and the computer will deduct them as they are used. As they are used up, and prior to running out, you will receive a reminder email that your credits are near expiration and that it is time to order more. Or, you can also set up your account to automatically reorder the credits when they hit a certain number that are remaining. The sign up process will walk you through it.

Q.  What processes do the real estate agents do when the listing is under contract?                                                                                                                 

A.  When your listing has a signed contract on it, and before close, place it in the Pending mode and the listing service credits will cease to be charged for the property.  Pending status will also end the active advertising of the property, so it will not be able to be viewed by consumers.

Q.  What processes do the real estate agents do when the listing is SOLD?                                                                                                                 

A.  Once the transaction has successfully closed, you should change the status to SOLD mode and the information is again available to consumers.  SOLD properties will be available for the general public.
